At first blush AEI’s new Destination-Based, Remote Classroom format seem very different from our traditional physical venues. But look closer and discover they’re very similar:
As you can see, both classrooms require travel to one of AEI’s designated learning destinations, one by virtue of a physical venue and the other due to digital “geofencing”. Neither are self-study as you may only participate in the week for which you register, during specified lecture hours and in the company of other professionals.
Why limit participation to select travel destinations and times? Because we recognized long ago the educational advantages of learning, with colleagues, in relaxed and enjoyable environments away from the myriad distractions of daily practice responsibilities. And combining learning with leisure travel allows you to continue your professional education without taking additional time away from your office.
